Published in 1978 by Rivest, Shamir, and Adleman, RSA was the first practical public-key cryptosystem. This visualization walks through each stage of simplified RSA: choosing two small primes, computing the modulus and totient, selecting a public exponent, deriving the private key, and demonstrating encryption/decryption of a small message.
