Who we are
Museum of Algorithms is operated by Nexadecimal LLC. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit our website or make a voluntary contribution.
What we collect
When you browse the museum
We do not require an account to view exhibits. We may use standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and approximate timing) for security and to understand aggregate traffic. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
When you support the museum
Contributions are processed by Stripe. When you click to contribute, you are sent to Stripe's checkout to enter payment details. Stripe collects the information required to process your payment (such as name, email, and card data). We receive confirmation of payment and limited details needed for our records (such as amount, date, and partial transaction identifiers), not your full card number.
Stripe's handling of payment data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy. Nexadecimal LLC is the merchant of record for voluntary contributions; Stripe acts as our payment processor.
